At Casero, we celebrate the flavors of Mexico with the same warmth and dedication that have made Swami's Café a San Diego favorite. Originally founded by Clayton Wheeler and Craig Applegate, Casero was born from a love of Baja surf trips, farm-fresh ingredients, and regional Mexican traditions.
Today, Casero is proudly operated by the Swami's Café family, continuing the vision of bringing homemade ("casero") flavors to North County. Our menu honors those simple, time-tested recipes while pairing them with the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that defines both brands.
